Let’s be clear about one thing. Elon Musk has no rights to access the funds in the Treasury Department. Treasury Department is the Legislative Branch. Elon Musk (to save another discussion) is the Executive Branch.

Pretty simple. Checks and Balances. Per the US Constitution.

However, by cutting ‘excessive’ programs (by whose judgement?) you take a large segment of people who were dependent on government benefits and turning them into people BEHOLDEN TO the government.

Dependent: needing the support of something or someone in order to continue existing or operating.

Beholden: owing thanks or having a duty to someone in return for help or a service | being under obligation for a favor or gift : INDEBTED

This is how a dictatorship is born, and it is trying to happen right now, today.
